I am Madeleine, a community illustrator and designer based in Scotland. I have been working as an illustrator and designer for 7 years and volunteering and working within LGBTQIA+ community support for 7 years.

Past clients include: The National Library of Scotland, Historic Environment Scotland, The National Museum of Scotland, Somewhere: for us, Engender, The Equality Network, LGBT Health and Wellbeing, Cairngorms Pride, Forth Environment Link and Queer Social Justice.

I like adding humour and clumsiness to my work, just like my life. The ethos behind my life and business is community and I love using illustration to connect with people.

I am flexible in my approach to illustration and design. I can work from loose briefs to help you develop the ideas that you want to communicate or I can work within specific briefs with strict branding guidelines. I am accustomed to working with tight deadlines, and I am comfortable working both alone in a self-directed manner and collaboratively with clients.
